High School students started the year learning about blind contour line drawings. These are drawings done to help train the hand to draw what the eye is actually seeing. So many times, we draw what we think we see. These drawings are also done while the artist is only looking at the subject, and not at the paper, which is why they are called blind contour drawings. After each student drew a person, they experimented with liquid watercolors to complete their painting. Here are some of the results:
